App: Level Up X
We built Level Up X to train and upskill users, we respect your privacy. We designed it so you can play anonymously and we avoid collecting personal information.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or address.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, fingerprinting, or behavioral ads.
- We do not sell your data.
What we do collect (and why)
We only collect the minimum needed to operate and improve the app:
- Gameplay data (non-personal)
- What: In-game events and performance metrics (e.g., levels attempted/completed, scores, session timestamps, features used).
- Why: To show you your own performance analytics and to help us improve game balance, features, and stability.
- Bug/issue reports (optional)
- What: Crash logs, error codes, device/app version, and any text you include when submitting a bug.
- Why: To diagnose problems and improve the app.
- Optional account link via App Store / Play Store
- What: If you choose to connect, we receive a platform-provided identifier or token (e.g., from Apple/Google).
- Why: Only to make sign-in easier and to enable account recovery (e.g., restore progress on a new device). We don’t use this for tracking or advertising.
- Optional: You can always play as a guest without linking an account.
Note: Like most internet services, our servers may temporarily process standard technical logs (e.g., IP address, device type) to deliver the service and for security. We do not use these to profile you.
How we use your data
- Provide core functionality (gameplay, analytics visible to you).
- Maintain and improve performance, safety, and reliability.
- Diagnose and fix bugs.
Data sharing
- We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.
- Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, crash analytics) may process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection terms and only for the purposes listed above.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to investigate abuse.
Data retention
- Gameplay data: kept only as long as needed for analytics and to support your in-app history; then aggregated or deleted.
- Bug reports & logs: kept only as long as needed to fix issues and improve stability.
- If you linked an account and later unlink or request deletion, we’ll delete or de-identify associated data unless we must keep it for legal or security reasons.
Your choices & rights
- Play as a guest: no account is required.
- Link/unlink: you can link your App Store / Play Store account to enable recovery, and unlink later.
- Access or delete: email us to request access to or deletion of your data (subject to verification and applicable law).
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. No system is 100% secure, but we continually work to improve our protections.
International use
Your data may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. We apply safeguards to protect it in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or on our website with a new effective date.
